2019 Ford Ranger: Half of XLT/Wildtraks are bi-turbo

Were you wondering whether buyers would take to the 2.0-litre bi-turbo engine offered in the new Ford Ranger? Wonder no longer, because it appears they're happily hopping aboard the downsizing train. Martin Gunsberg, Ford Australia communications head, today told media 50 per cent of Ranger XLT and Wildtrak buyers are opting for the new 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and 10-speed automatic transmission over the cheaper (and older) 3.2-litre five-cylinder oiler.

Ferrari celebrating 70th anniversary at Melbourne's Motorclassica

Ferrari will officially celebrate its 70th anniversary at the 2017 Motorclassica in Melbourne next month. The event will feature rare and collectible cars from around the world and is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Come October, Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building will see the biggest display of Ferraris to have ever been assembled in Australia.

Motorclassica: BMW to bring M4 GTS and 3.0 CSL Hommage R, Ferrari celebrating Dino

The programme for Melbourne's 2015 Motorclassica is growing, with news this week that BMW will showcase the recent M4 GTS and 3.0 CSL Hommage R concepts, while Ferrari will celebrate its classic Dino. The M4 GTS has already been revealed in its limited-edition production form overseas, but it's the (largely identical) concept version we'll see in Melbourne.
