Lagonda confirms electric SUV for 2021

Lagonda, high-end luxury arm of British sports car marque Aston Martin, has announced its plans to launch an all-electric SUV in 2021. Set to be the "first in a range of state of the art, emission-free luxury vehicles", the new Lagonda model will draw heavily from the Vision Concept shown at this year's Geneva motor show.

Aston Martin CEO wants to create Ferrari rival, Lagonda sedans to take on Bentley

Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, has publicly revealed some of the company's possible expansion plans. In an interview with Car and Driver, Palmer said, "The reason we’re doing [the Valkyrie] is to create a halo car, but also to create DNA for a mid-engined sports-car range". If the boss gets his way, the Valkyrie mid-engine hypercar (below) will be followed up by a smaller mid-engine model to tackle Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren.

Aston Martin Lagonda interior, final production body revealed

The final production form of the Middle East-only Aston Martin Lagonda sedan has been uncovered by the British sports car specialist. With previews being provided by Aston Martin and its partners during the development process, no-one should be too surprised about the look of the 21st century Lagonda. The exterior hardly differs from the prototype vehicle that was shown off earlier by both Oman Air and Aston Martin during hot weather testing in the desert.
