Ford unveils modified 'Auto Nights' concept cars

Ford has revealed a slew of modified concepts based on its latest models, unveiled on Friday as part of the brand's 'Ford Auto Nights SEMA Show Special' livestream event. The online-only Auto Nights event was set up, as its name suggests, in place of the 2020 SEMA show in Las Vegas, which was cancelled as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Headlining the roster of modified show car and custom concepts is the Bronco Badlands Sasquatch 2-Door Concept.

Ford Mustang Mach-E electric car aims to solve range anxiety

Ford has announced its electric Mustang Mach-E SUV will get ‘intelligent range’ technology – a feature the brand says will improve the accuracy of distance-to-empty calculations. The technology is designed to tackle range anxiety “about when and where customers can recharge” by being able to "accurately estimate how much range the all-electric SUV has (remaining)”.

Ford Mustang Mach-E: UK pricing revealed for new electric SUV

Pricing for the Ford Mustang Mach-E in the United Kingdom has been revealed, with the electric crossover kicking off from a price equivalent to just over AU$81,000. UK deliveries of the Mach-E will begin later in the year, with the entry-level standard-range rear-wheel drive version starting from £40,270 and boasting a claimed range of around 450km and an output of 180kW from its 76kWh battery.

2020 Ford Mach-E: Pricing, performance figures leaked

Ford's plug-in baby, the Mustang Mach-E, has been leaked two days before its official reveal in Los Angeles. A range of images published by user 'buzznwood' on the MachEforum, reveal the Mach-E will be priced from US$43,895 (AU$65,000) in base, rear-wheel drive guise when it launches. Ford will offer the base model with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive, and is targeting a mid-five-second sprint time to 100km/h.
