Maserati Australia has issued a recall for the 2016 to 2020 model-year Ghibli sedan and Levante SUV over concerns models fitted with LED headlights could have faulty parts. The Italian marque reports "due to a factory fault, the full LED headlights setting may not be assembled correctly". Should the condition occur, "the full LED headlights setting may beam excessively high light towards oncoming vehicles, increasing the risk of an accident for oncoming vehicles".

Maserati Australia's importer, Ateco, has revised prices across its entire Ghibli, Levante and GranTurismo ranges, as it prepares for a "challenging part of the Australian car market cycle".

Maserati has confirmed the **breathes** Quattroporte GTS Gransport Nerissimo Edition for Australia, priced from a cool $371,990 before on-road costs. The Nerissimo Edition – or 'very black' edition – is a dark-themed special featuring numerous blacked-out styling treatments and various carbon-fibre components.

The LDV V80 van range has been relaunched in Australia with a sub-$30,000 starting price and a new automatic transmission option. Distribution of LDV – a division of China’s Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) – is now the responsibility of major independent vehicle importer, Ateco Automotive. The Sydney-based importer took over the rights in July from White Motor Corporation, which began selling the V80 at the beginning of 2013.

The Citroen C4 Aircross has been belatedly launched following its 2012 on-sale date, as the French brand's new Australian distributor takes control. Originally released to market in July last year by then-local distributor Ateco Automotive, priced from $31,990, the Citroen C4 Aircross has now been officially launched in Australia under its new management by Sime Darby Motors Group.
