2020 Ram 1500 Warlock off-road review

Big, brash and brutish. But can the Ram 1500 survive a weekend bashing around in the bush?

2020 Ram 1500 Warlock review

Few vehicles spawn such vitriolic response as the Ram 1500 in Australia. On one hand, there are fans of this big American that’s now available through more mainstream means, with its big engine, big comfort and big towing capacity. On the other hand, others cannot fathom why such a thing exists on the roads, with its big consumption, big footprint and big asking price...

Does swapping out a lusty V8 for a turbo diesel V6 make sense for a Ram 1500, or does it spoil the broth?

Video: 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel review (off-road and towing)

Since launching in June 2018 with the 5.7-litre Hemi V8, the Ram has filled a void that the typical 4X4 ute simply cannot service. And now the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel offers an extra choice for Australian buyers.

2019 Ram 1500 features review: RAMBOX!

The big (or 'small' if you're in the US) and badass 2019 Ram 1500 can be had with a very handy feature: the RAMBOX. It ain't a cheap upgrade, but it really makes the most of the space available to the side of the tub by creating a locked and secure space for tools, special equipment, or a few ice-chilled cans for the weekend getaway...

2016 RAM 2500 Laramie (4x4) Review

I've had my RAM for two months and I love it! There are plenty of plusses. Power for towing is awesome. I regularly tow a four-tonne boat and it barely registers on the RAM . The all coil suspension is stiff enough to stop sag in the rear when towing but still soft enough to give a good ride around town...
