2021 Hyundai i20 N prototype photos: Wakefield track drive
Hyundai's littlest meanie will be unveiled in the next few weeks, but it still looks remarkably tough in camouflage.
The new 2021 Hyundai i20 N hot hatch will arrive in the coming weeks to take on Ford's Fiesta ST and the Volkswagen Polo GTI – and, importantly, it's coming to Australia.
That's good news because, like the Fiesta ST, it will be an orphan in its parent company's local line-up: with no regular i20 models to fill out the range, the i20 N is going to be quite the spectre on Aussie roads.
The i20 N will be powered by the same 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that drives the bigger N Line 'warm' models, producing the same 150kW and a slightly better 275Nm (up from 265Nm).
Oh, and we've already driven it. Catch Joshua Dowling's Wakefield track test review right here.
