The Mercedes-Benz ML-Class has been spotted wearing heavy camouflage, with the disguised car to bring major changes as part of a mid-life update.
Only two images of the Mercedes-Benz SUV have been made available by CarAdvice's spy photographers, though they clearly show changes to the bonnet, headlights, front bumper and grille that will bring the ML-Class more in line with current offerings from the brand like the new C-Class and S-Class.
It is currently unclear if the brand will offer new engines or transmissions for the ML-Class, but given the company's move to introduce a new nine-speed automatic in the facelifted CLS-Class later this year, it seems probable that mechanical modifications will be seen.
Technology upgrades will likely include items such as the radar-based cruise control system Distronic Plus with steering control, while the interior is also expected to benefit from a more modern layout, new instruments and new media interface.
Mercedes-Benz Australia confirmed the new model will be sold here, but that it won't arrive until "late 2015 at the earliest".
