2019 Subaru Forester teased again
Full reveal coming later this week
Subaru has teased the new Forester again, ahead of a full reveal at this week's New York motor show.
The next generation of Subaru's popular mid-size crossover will be joined by the new-generation Toyota RAV4 and refreshed Hyundai Tucson in the Big Apple, making for a fascinating bottleneck of family haulers on the Jacob J. Kavits Convention Centre.
As with the previous teaser image (below), the only angle of the car we can see is the taillight, which runs with a C-shaped light signature. We're expecting the full car to mimic the Viziv Future Concept unveiled in Tokyo three years ago.
It should also feature a stronger resemblance to the designs of the current Impreza, Liberty and XV than the existing model.
There's no indication of what will feature inside, however – the Viziv Future's interior previewed the Impreza's cabin, which is more angular than that of the current Outback and Liberty. We're not sure which path – edgy or straight-laced – the Forester will take when it launches.
