LDV G10 gets turbo-diesel option from $28,990 drive-away
The LDV G10 van is now available with the option of a turbo-diesel engine in Australia.
Kicking off at $28,990 drive-away with the six-speed manual ($31,490 auto), the diesel-powered G10 van represents a $3000 increase over the equivalent manual-equipped petrol model.
The 1.9-litre oiler produces 106.5kW of power at 4000rpm and a meaty 350Nm of torque between 1800 and 2600rpm.
Fuel consumption for the manual version is rated at 8.3L/100km on the combined cycle (auto TBC), which is 3.2L/100km less than the petrol model.
By comparison, the 2.4-litre naturally-aspirated petrol (manual only) produces 105kW of power and 200Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol (auto only) offers 165kW and 330Nm.
Standard equipment on all models includes air-conditioning, power steering, cruise control (auto only), power windows, electric mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, bluetooth and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
All LDV G10s also come with stability control, ABS, rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, body-roll control and a tyre pressure monitor.
However, there are only two airbags (dual front) with no side impact protection.
Like the petrol variants, the new LDV G10 diesels are backed by a three year, 100,000km warranty. The company also offers 24/7 roadside assistance.
