Here’s a look at what happened on the week of May 29 in years past.
While most 1:1 Porsche models haven't been officially crash tested, the ADAC – Germany's equivalent to NRMA or RACV – decided to perform a crash test on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Lego Technic set.

What happened in this week's episode?
The design of the upcoming Ferrari LaFerrari Spider has been revealed, with images of a 1/43 scale model version of the drop-top hypercar surfacing online.
Already confirmed by Sergio Marchionne, boss of Fiat Chrysler (FCA) and Ferrari, along with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay on the first episode of the new season of Top Gear, the new LaFerrari Spider is believed to be largely similar to its roofed sibling.

First up, Furious 9 and 10. Yes, the eighth film in the Fast & Furious franchise is still something like 14 months away, but star and producer Vin Diesel has now confirmed we’ll see (or straight-up skip, since this writer has yet to see the seventh) a full two decades worth of his aging vigilantes wreak havoc on the road.
The human embodiment of a cannonball has offered little in the way of plot details at this early stage, although he confirmed some dates: April 19, 2019, and April 2, 2021.
Top Gear pair banned from driving in France for three months
…
Two out of three Top Gear hosts have been suspended from driving in France for three months after being caught, somewhat unsurprisingly, speeding.
The incident occurred while Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond were on location, filming the final sequence of a road trip DVD from Venice, Italy to Pau, France.
Clarkson was in an Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition with Hammond behind in a Porsche 911 GT3.
A teaser for the 20th season of Top Gear has been released by the BBC, ahead of its premiere in the UK this Sunday.
The first episode will feature a European road trip in a bevvy of drop-top supercars, including an Audi R8 V10, Ferrari 458 and McLaren MP4-12C.
The clip also highlights a few of Clarkson and co’s shenanigans to come, such as getting air in a Ferrari F12, power-sliding limos, and disposing of an even less-emotive-than-usual Stig into a dumpster.
