Pagani V12 to survive until 2026, electric car in the works
Pagani has confirmed it will continue producing V12-powered hypercars until at least 2026, and says it's also working on an electric vehicle.
In an interview with Autocar, Horatio Pagani, the carmaker's founder and CEO, confirmed the company's next-generation sports car will again be powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine from Mercedes-Benz.
According to Pagani this the next-generation engine will be "homologated until 2026".

A mysterious Pagani Huayra wearing a wild aerodynamics package has been spied in testing, sparking speculation an 'R' variant could be on the way.
The images, snapped by iuri.giova on Instagram, reveal a massive rear wing and super-aggressive diffuser, along with what appears to be a fin running down the car's spine.
Pagani Huayra: Final coupe to be delivered in June
The Pagani Huayra may have just been made available for the Australian market in Roadster form, but the coupe is now at the end of its production run.
Dubbed "Il Ultimo" – meaning 'the last' in Italian – the final Huayra coupe has been built for the CEO of Prestige Imports in the US, Brett David.
To honour the Huayra's German engine, sourced from Mercedes-AMG, coupe 100 out of 100 will be finished in a similar colour scheme to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes F1 race car.
