The Opel Corsa-e Rally has been revealed ahead of its in-the-flesh debut at the 2019 Frankfurt motor show in September.
Said to be the first electric rally car from a major manufacturer, the Corsa-e Rally features the same 100kW/260Nm electric motor and 50kWh battery as the road-legal production car.
Drive is sent to the front wheels via a Torsen differential.
Opel and Vauxhall have previewed the next-generation Corsa hatchback with an official set of images showing a camouflaged prototype being put through its paces.
Set to debut sometime later in 2019, the fifth-gen Corsa is set to move to the PSA Group's 'CMP' modular platform for compact vehicles, which already underpins the new DS 3 Crossback and Peugeot 208.
The next-generation Peugeot 208 has been spied on the snowy roads of Europe this week, ahead of an anticipated reveal at the Geneva motor show in March.
As we've seen from previous prototypes, the new-gen 208 will be larger than the current model, and incorporate various design elements inspired by the company's latest aesthetic theme, meaning it should bear a strong resemblance to the 3008, 508 and 5008.
The next-generation Opel Corsa sedan has been spied just days after the first pictures of the next-generation hatch arrived in our inbox.
Like the earlier hatch prototype, it's hard to make out too many of the final car's styling details due to the extensive camouflage and numerous false body panels.
In addition to gaining a boot and a longer rear overhang, it seems as though the sedan will also feature altered rear doors, and a different front-end design.
