Lexus recalls more than 6000 vehicles affected by a faulty fuel pump
Lexus Australia has issued a recall of 6610 of its model-year 2013-2019 IS (ASE30 and GSE31), GS (ARL10, GLR10/11/12 and GWL10), RX (GGL2# and GYL2#), LC (GWZ100 and URZ100), LS (USF40, GVF50, VXFA50 and UVF4#), LX (URJ201), NX (AGZ1#) (pictured above), RC (ASC10 and GSC10), and IS-F (USE20) models due to a faulty fuel pump.
Affected models were sold between 27 September 2013 and 29 February 2020.

2020 Lexus RX pricing and specs: More tech, revised ride, sharper entry
The facelifted and updated 2020 Lexus RX range goes on sale in Australia from October 2, bringing more tech and sharpened pricing to compete with a renewed line-up of popular rivals.
The 2020 Lexus RX range opens again with the RX300 Luxury, now $1600 cheaper at $71,920 before on-road costs.
Lexus Australia has set another sales record, despite continued decline in overall new vehicle sales.
The monthly total of 860 registrations for the month of May is a 5.9% gain on the same month last year, which was also the previous record for the fifth month (812 vehicles).
May also proved to be Lexus' most successful month of 2019, up 19.6% over the previous 2019 best of 719 sales.
Lexus patents UX name in Europe, seven-seat RX to lob later this year – report
It appears Japanese premium marque Lexus is expanding its SUV range, with the production version of the striking UX concept and a seven-seat version of the popular RX in the works, according to a new report out of the UK.
Autocar reports the company has already filed patents for UX model names – including UX200, UX250 and UX250h – which is set to replace the ageing CT hatch.
