Subaru refutes mid-engined sports car rumour, but confirms new BRZ desire

Subaru has rebuffed rumours out of the US that it is secretly working on a special mid-engined sports coupe prototype. As we recently noted, a report from US publication Car & Driver, citing a Subaru source, claimed it was testing a new Boxer mid-engined turbocharged prototype model, with two electric motors powering the front wheels and the engine powering the rears.

2016 Bugatti Chiron confirmed for Geneva motor show debut

The 2016 Bugatti Chiron has at last been confirmed, with the French brand today revealing that the Veyron successor’s long-rumoured name is locked in. The announcement, which comes on the heels of multiple leaks and reports over the past few years, was joined by confirmation that the Chiron will make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in March next year. “We want to make the best significantly better,” Bugatti president Wolfgang Duerheimer said in a release today.
