Chevrolet Volt pokes its head out at owners event

The next-generation Chevrolet Volt has poked its head out from beneath a white veil at an exclusive owners event in Hollywood, revealing its front-end design for the first time. The teaser image confirms the Volt will be at home in General Motors’ global line-up, with a face reminiscent of both North America’s Chevrolet Impala and Australia’s own Holden Commodore.

2016 Chevrolet Volt teased ahead of 2015 Detroit auto show debut

The new-generation 2016 Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid car will make its international debut at the 2015 Detroit auto show in early January, it has been revealed. The all-new Volt is expected to bring with a more modern design, as has been hinted at in spy photos of the car. Changes are expected to include a more streamlined roof, smaller glasshouse, and as the above image suggests, a sloping boot-line.

Holden Volt: one in five dealers only to sell electric car

The Holden Volt hybrid will be sold only in one in five of the local car maker’s dealerships. Holden today confirmed just 49 of its 240-odd dealerships will sell the electric car that uses a petrol engine to extend its driving range and will cost about $60,000 when it goes on sale in late 2012.
