Aston Martin Vanquish Vision Concept revealed

Aston Martin has continued its new-model onslaught with the Vanquish Vision Concept, previewing the third model in the brand's mid-engined range ahead of a 2022 on-sale date. The production version of the Vanquish Vision Concept should be more affordable than the AM-RB 003 and Valkyrie as it eschews their carbon-fibre construction in favour of unique bonded aluminium chassis.

Aston Martin DB9, DBS, Virage and Vanquish recalled

Aston Martin Lagonda has recalled the DB9, DBS, Virage and Vanquish, over concerns an in-cabin battery supply cable could cause a fire. If the driver seat is pushed all the way back in affected cars, it could compress (and damage) the battery supply cable. According to the company, this can happen when the driver manually puts the seat back (likely, if they're tall) or, in some cases, if the seat loses its calibration.

Aston Martin DBZ trademark could hint at new Zagato special

British automaker Aston Martin has recently applied to trademark the ‘DBZ’ name in Europe, hinting at a new collaborative special model. Aston's trademark application first appeared in the European Union's Intellectual Property Office's public database this month, with the name intended for “passenger cars; racing cars; car bodies”.

Aston Martin Vanquish redesigned by Henrik Fisker as the Thunderbolt

Automotive designer Henrik Fisker has refashioned the Aston Martin Vanquish into the Thunderbolt for the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. The one-off Thunderbolt has a reworked exterior that's been crafted from hand-laid carbonfibre. Up front the car features new headlights, a refashioned bumper with an eye-catching aluminium grille, a bonnet with a power dome, and triangular air intakes.
