2013 Ssangyong Korando S Review

I've had my Ssangyong Korando for just over two years now. The price is fantastic for the size and reliability of the vehicle. If you want a true five seater with most of the safety inclusions and something bigger than the small range of SUV's, you can't go past the Korando and at $21,990 drive-away, you are not busting the wallet and getting plenty of car for the price...


This is my third car from Ssangyong now and it truly represents a great step forward for the once embattled car maker in terms of overall design and desirability. The diesel engine is a fantastic match for this car, with the power meaning that it's always got plenty of go, regardless of being up a steep hill or on the flat...


I researched and drove a number of compact turbo diesel SUVs before deciding on the Ssangyong Korando. My shortlist included the Hyundai ix35/ Kia Sportage twins and Mazda CX5. The price/ performance package won out in the Korando's favour, along with it's superior towing capacity...
