Even before the production car hits showrooms, the Toyota 86 TRD has been out on track proving its wares.
Toyota has unveiled the Toyota Auris TRD in South Africa. The Auris, a rebadged version of the Toyota Corolla, features a supercharged engine and sporty highlights in TRD trim. It will replace the local Toyota Auris SportX.
Toyota Australia has pulled the plug on its TRD performance brand, citing the current global financial crisis as the determining factor.

Unlike the TRD Aurion which has received a mixed reception as a result of its enormous power being sent to the wrong wheels, the TRD HiLux promises to be Toyota's savior when it makes its debut at the Brisbane International Motor Show.
