Out of control Toyota captured on dash cam

A motorist lost control last week in Queensland, getting their Toyota HiLux airborne – and it was all captured on dash cam. Posted to the Youtube channel Dash Cam Owners Australia, the video shows the disaster that unfolds after the HiLux attempts to execute an overtake. Watch the video here.


Ford closes orders for the current Mustang 

Order books for the popular 2022 Ford Mustang have been closed for good, as the automaker reaches its order capacity. The manufacturer will now edge future buyers towards the next-generation model, due to arrive in Australia in 2023. Check out the full story here.


Tesla Cybertruck spied with styling tweak

The latest prototype of Tesla's much-anticipated Cybertruck has been spotted, reportedly not too far from the electric-car giant’s factory in Texas. The futuristic electric pick-up now sports a tweaked rear-end, adding a thin strip of LEDs, and with a larger panel gap to the main section of the tailgate. See all the details here.


Chinese car brand hit with a 'stop delivery' notice

A 'stop delivery' notice has been issued by Australian distributors of the BYD Atto 3, due to a breach of motor vehicle compliance rules associated with the use of a child seat in the middle rear seat.

The notice was initially issued for one week from 21 October (click here to read the story) – however it was extended to 28 October (click here for the latest update).
