Peugeot 508 GT Touring: flagship wagon lands
The Peugeot 508 GT Touring has arrived in local showrooms, bringing a wagon variant of the large luxury car's flagship model.
The $55,990 508 GT Touring costs $3000 more than the GT sedan and features the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that brings 150kW of power and 450Nm of torque.
That’s enough grunt to push the GT Touring to 100km/h in 8.4 seconds.
The 508 GT Touring also benefits from the same double wishbone front suspension as the GT sedan instead of the Allure Touring’s Macpherson-type struts.
Standard equipment for the top-of-the range wagon includes 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, head-up colour display, and electric driver's seat with memory recall.
Options for the GT Touring are in line with the GT sedan but with the addition of an electric tailgate option that asks an extra $1000.
