Lexus LF-C2 convertible concept teased for a second time
The Lexus LF-C2 convertible concept car that is due to be revealed at the 2014 Los Angeles auto show has been teased for a second time.
The new image posted to a teaser reveal site gives a glimpse at the sharply-styled front-end of the new showcar, which is tipped to be the precursor to a production drop-top based on the RC coupe.
The nose includes bold tick-like daytime running lights and triple LED unit assembly headlights, and there are new trapezoidal air inputs which appear to be flanked by daytime running lights.
A more revealing profile shot has also been made available, with the above image clearly showing that the car will boast a sleek, low profile windscreen and what appears to be a double-bubble boot lid. The colour of the showcar is also quite clear.
While Lexus has said little about the new LF-C2 concept, it will likely point to an all-new model that will be the brand's convertible in its range. The Japanese maker currently has the ancient IS250 CC, though this model is expected to be discontinued should a new RC-based version make production.
We'll bring you more images and news on the Lexus LF-C2 concept when it is revealed at this week's Los Angeles auto show.
