  • 2024 Abarth 695 75° Anniversario pricing and specifications
  • Near-$15,000 premium for the likely last petrol Abarth edition
  • Gold decals, wheels and trim
  • Priced from $52,695 before on-road costs

Fiat's Abarth hot-hatch division has announced what is expected to be its last new model with petrol power in Australia, the 2024 Abarth 695 75° Anniversario.

Limited to 75 examples, the 695 75° Anniversario – priced from $52,695 plus on-road costs – is the most expensive Abarth sold in Australia since 2016, and costs $14,795 more than the regular 695 Competizione manual.

It is the 'swansong' for petrol-powered Abarth hot hatches, as production is due to end by the middle of this year – alongside the regular Fiat 500 petrol hatch.

The newly-introduced Fiat 500e and Abarth 500e will continue as the companies' only passenger vehicles, alongside the Fiat Ducato delivery van.

The special edition is said to pay homage to its 1.4-litre (1368cc) turbocharged four-cylinder engine – which has featured in all Abarth 500s since the original in 2011 – with 1368 examples to be built for global markets.

Powering the 75° Anniversario is the most powerful 132kW/250Nm tune of the turbo engine, matched with a five-speed manual transmission for 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed of 225km/h.

It's fitted with a Record Monza sports exhaust and Koni FSD shock absorbers familiar from the Competizione.

Unique to the 75° Anniversario is an exterior decal package with a gold scorpion on the roof, Abarth lettering on the doors, and crossed piston stickers behind the front doors. Black body paint is the sole choice.

There are 17-inch gold alloy wheels, plus privacy glass and carry-over 305mm front brakes with black Brembo calipers.

Inside, the special edition has black fabric seats specific to Australian models (the overseas version is pictured) with Abarth embroidery, plus Alcantara on the dashboard and steering wheel.

Other standard features include a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and digital radio, a 7.0-inch digital instrument display, Beats sound system, and automatic air conditioning.

The 2024 Abarth 695 75° Anniversario is available to order now, ahead of showroom arrivals due in the second half of this year.
