2023 Audi E-Tron GT price and specs

Audi's Porsche Taycan sibling is due in showrooms this September, with the choice of two all-wheel-drive variants combining A7 luxury, R8 speed and zero tailpipe emissions.

  • Porsche Taycan twin to be available in two variants
  • RS range-topper offers 475kW, 0-100km/h in 3.3s
  • Healthy standard equipment list
  • Priced from $181,700 before on-road costs

The 2023 Audi E-Tron GT electric sedan is due to arrive in Australian showrooms this September priced from $181,700 before on-road costs – undercutting its Porsche Taycan twin under the skin.

Two variants of Audi's new electric car will be offered in Australia, the eponymous 'entry-level' E-Tron GT Quattro, and range-topping RS E-Tron GT Quattro – both wearing price tags undercutting their Porsche Taycan equivalents (in line with the Audi brand's positioning).

Powering the regular E-Tron GT is a pair of electric motors and a 93kWh (gross capacity; 85kWh usable) battery pack, combining for 350kW and 630Nm in normal driving, increasing to 390kW in 'boost mode' – good for a 4.1-second 0-100km/h time, and up to 488km of claimed WLTP driving range.

The RS E-Tron GT upgrades its dual electric motors to 440kW/830Nm in standard driving, or 475kW during overboost – making it not only the most powerful production Audi, but one of the quickest accelerating, with a 3.3-second 0-100km/h time. Claimed WLTP range is rated at between 433km and 472km.

Both variants feature 800-volt electrical systems capable of 270kW DC fast charging, capable of adding up to 100km of WLTP range in as little as five minutes, or an 80 per cent charge in 22.5 minutes.

All E-Tron GTs delivered in Australia will come standard with a complimentary home wallbox installation (courtesy of JetCharge), and a six-year/unlimited-charge subscription for the Chargefox public charging network.

Standard features in the entry-level E-Tron GT include 20-inch wheels, laser headlights (with matrix LED sections), adaptive air suspension, twin interior displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather seats, a 16-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof, and a full active safety suite.

Stepping up to the RS E-Tron GT brings 21-inch wheels, nappa leather trim, rear-axle steering, upgraded brake discs and calipers, improved torque vectoring, RS sport seats, ventilated front seats, and more.

The 2023 Audi E-Tron GT is due to arrive in Australian showrooms in September 2022, likely as a Model Year 2023 vehicle.
