Cadillac’s 2016 ATS-V performance Coupe has been revealed this week, with both pictures and details emerging online.
Due to be officially unveiled at this month’s LA Auto Show, the new Caddy Coupe will reportedly feature a 3.6 litre twin-turbocharged petrol V6 producing 336kW and 603Nm.
That’s 97kW and 230Nm more than the 3.6 litre V6 found in the ‘regular’ ATS Coupe, and 134kW/203Nm more than the 2.0 litre four-cylinder unit.
While the ATS Coupe offers a manual transmission only with the four-cylinder engine, the ATS-V is expected to be offered with both six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmission options.
Performance mods are believed to include twin water-to-air intercoolers, a radiator for cooling the gearbox and differential, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres and stiffer suspension.
