2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe spied
If the C-Class sedan looks like a mini S-Class, our spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe indicate it will present itself as a junior version of the limo's two-door off-shoot.
The German car maker has uses its patterned disguise tape to suggest the presence of a door pillar, though the C-Class Coupe is expected to feature a pillar-less profile like the S-Class Coupe.
Ignore the BMW-inspired taxi bootlid as well - it disguises a sleek rear end that will feature tail-lights taking their cue from the S Coupe's slim units.
The AMG C63 Coupe will feature a wider track and lower ride height, we know; it remains to be seen whether such a change is applied to the regular models.
Inside, the Coupe will largely share its presentation with the sedan's cabin - which is no bad thing considering the C-Class currently offers the benchmark interior for quality and design.
Engines will also be familiar from the C-Class sedan family, meaning turbocharged four-cylinder petrols and diesels, twin-turbo V6s and the AMG's twin-turbo V8.
A C-Class Cabriolet twin is also on its way, though it could follow up to a year or more after the Coupe.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is likely to make its public debut at September's Frankfurt motor show. It's due to go on sale in Australia in early 2016.
