Honda's CR-Z hybrid sportster has been given a mild makeover for the 2013 model year, picking up an updated exterior and interior design.
Full details are still to be revealed, although this new official image reveals that front-end changes are limited to a new mesh grille and a revised front bumper.
Honda also promises a power boost for the little hybrid, but the carmaker is keeping mum on exactly what we can expect in that department.
The current CR-Z, launched internationally only two years ago, delivers 84kW and 174Nm of torque from its 1.5 litre petrol engine and electric motor combo.
In the UK market, a Mugen-enhanced supercharged version of the CR-Z is available, squeezing 128kW out of the powertrain and cutting the 0-100km/h time to the low six-second region.
Earlier teaser images also reveal the addition of a new S+ button in the cabin, but exactly what this feature will offer is unclear. The current CRZ has a 'sport mode' setting that sharpens steering, suspension and throttle response.
Watch for more details in the coming week.
