2010-14 Subaru Outback, Liberty recalled
A huge recall for Subaru, over concerns about the electronic parking brake.
Subaru has recalled the 2010-2014 Outback and Liberty, over concerns about their electric parking brakes.
According to the company, if the parking brake circuit board fractures a warning light will illuminate and the brake can't be applied or released. That puts the cars in breach of Australian Design Rules (ADR) for motor vehicles.
A total of 19,479 Liberty models and 23,210 Outback examples are impacted – VIN lists are attached to the respective model names.
Affected owners will be contacted by mail and advised to get in touch with their dealer for a free fix.
