Brabham Automotive delivers its first BT62 hypercar
…
Adelaide-based hypercar manufacturer Brabham Automotive has officially built and delivered its first production BT62.
Claimed to be "the world's most track-focussed hypercar", this particular green example was finished in competition specification as requested by its owner, Horsepower Racing.
Horsepower Racing is a UK-based business that specialises in the sale and hire of competition race cars. They plan to compete with the car in the 2020 Britcar Endurance championship.
Brabham Automotive will use the new circuit at Tailem Bend, South Australia – simply dubbed 'The Bend' – as its local testing facility.
The 7.77km track, which was officially opened in April and lays claim to being the second-longest permanent circuit in the world, is just about 70 minutes south west of Adelaide, and will host a Supercars round later this year.

Having handed back the keys to the Brabham BT92, I'm finding it a little hard to explain the car. People have a lot of reservations about this particular car, but having spent two days with it, it really does make sense.
