All the celebrities who drive a Tesla Cybertruck

While mere mortals were forced to wait months for the electric ute, here are the celebrities who already own and drive a Tesla Cybertruck.

The Cybertruck might be one of the most talked-about cars in the world right now.

In April 2024, Tesla made headlines when it paused deliveries of its Cybertruck in the United States after customers reported issues with a "faulty" accelerator pedal.

The Cybertruck received a whopping one million reservations ahead of its official launch in late 2023, meaning plenty of buyers waited months to get their hands on the electric ute.

However, according to the US publication Carscoops, in mid-April buyers began to receive notifications from the electric car manufacturer that their appointments to collect their new vehicles had been cancelled.

Thankfully for those who've missed out on securing a Cybertruck so far, there's no shortage of footage, photos and commentary online, particularly from some more prominent buyers who seem to have skipped the lengthy queue – much to the chagrin of the Teslarati.

Here are the celebrities who have managed to add the much-anticipated electric pick-up truck to their garage.

Beyonce and Jay-Z

Music power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z took delivery of a Tesla Cybertruck in February 2024.

The trendsetters chose to customise their electric ute by wrapping it in matte black, and Jay-Z's friend Lenny Santiago shared the finished product in an Instagram post with the caption, "Dark Knight feeling."

Tesla CEO Elon Musk even voiced his approval for the couple's unique design, taking to social media platform X to write: "Nice."

Justin Bieber

Pop star Justin Bieber has an impressive car collection that includes a Rolls-Royce Ghost and Lamborghini Urus, but the newest addition to his garage is a Cybertruck.

The singer showed off his new ride on a night out with his wife Hailey Bieber in February 2024.

Lady Gaga

Another high-profile Tesla Cybertruck owner is Lady Gaga, who uses the electric pick-up truck as a daily driver.

The singer has been seen grabbing coffee and running errands in the eye-catching vehicle and even posted a selfie to Instagram with the Cybertruck's' distinctive seats in the background.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is another proud owner of a Tesla Cybertruck – 'proud' being the operative word.

Kardashian has taken several photos of herself posing alongside the giant Cybertruck, which makes the reality star look particularly diminutive in stature.

Pharrell Williams

Musician and Creative Director for Louis Vuitton menswear Pharrell Williams was spotted behind the wheel of the Cybertruck in Miami, Florida, in January 2024.

Hilariously, Williams struggled to parallel-park the massive car – which measures roughly 5.7 metres long – and had to delegate the task to a valet.

Williams's early Cybertruck access drew the ire of some on social media platform X, where commenters complained he was "skipping the line". It's not clear if Williams bought the vehicle himself, or was using it for promotional reasons.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian

Tennis star Serena Williams and her husband, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, are also the proud owners of a Cybertruck.

The pair was spotted cruising around Miami in the massive ute, and Ohanian shared his ownership experience on X.

"Runs smooth, smells nice, and reminds me of an APC from Aliens," Ohanian posted on the social media platform.

Spike Lee

Film director Spike Lee is a Cybertruck superfan, having first placed his order for the car back in 2021, taking to Instagram to post about his delivery day in December 2023.

"Dammmmmmmmnmmmmmmmmmnnnnnn!!!Lo And Behold. Da New TESLA CYBERTRUCK. I Put My Reservation In 2 Years Ago YA-DIG. SHO-NUFF. And Dat’s Da SPACE SHIP ON 4 WHEELS-And Dat’s Da TRUTH, RUTH," Lee posted on Instagram.

Jay Leno

An early adopter of Tesla's electric cars, former late-night host Jay Leno was spotted taking the Cybertruck for a spin in December 2023.

Leno is not strictly a Cybertruck owner, clarifying to onlookers that the Cybertruck was only borrowed from a friend and was chassis number five, meaning it was one of the brand's earliest-delivered models.

However, Leno looked pretty enthusiastic about the new vehicle – describing it as "incredible" and "as fast as a Tesla Plaid" in a video shared to social media platform X.

Elon Musk

Unsurprisingly, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk endorses his company's products and has been getting around in a Cybertruck prototype since 2019.

More recently, Musk has been spotted in a production version of the car, making an entrance in the Cybertruck at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October 2023.

Musk has previously said the Cybertruck will be his new daily driver, replacing the Model S and Model X he typically drives.

"I can't wait to drive it personally," he said during a 2023 earnings call. "It will be the car that I drive every day."
