Peugeot Instinct concept revealed

The Peugeot Instinct concept has been revealed, ahead of its public debut at the Geneva motor show next month. An autonomous shooting brake, the Peugeot Instinct is pitched as a car that understands the driver and can "foresee your every wish". Headlining features of the Instinct include full connectivity with devices like your smartphone, smartwatch and social media sites. Additionally, it can connect to various items in the home including a smart television, PC and other devices.

2017 Geneva motor show: What to expect

With the international calendar's first big show, Detroit, now wrapped up, we move on to Europe's big opener: the 2017 Geneva motor show. Last year's show promised big things, and it delivered. Renault Captur facelift and 'EV surprise' coming to Geneva

An updated Renault Captur will be one vehicle among a multitude of reveals by the French automaker at the upcoming Geneva motor show. Renault says that the updated Captur will have "more distinctive styling and new technologies". This means that the small crossover will likely gain a new front-end design with C-shaped headlights and a larger grille, similar to one setup seen on the latest Koleos and Megane models.

SsangYong XAVL seven-seat concept teased

Korean car maker SsangYong will use next month's Geneva motor show to reveal yet another new concept, this one dubbed XAVL. Challenging Mitsubishi for some sort of "how many concepts can you reveal between new production models" award, SsangYong's latest show car will be a mid-sized SUV on the large end of the segment. The XAVL, a name said to be an abbreviation of eXciting Authentic Vehicle Long, will build on the styling of the LIV-2 concept revealed at last year's Paris motor show.

2017 Honda Civic Type R confirmed for Geneva

The hotly-anticipated 2017 Honda Civic Type R has been confirmed for a production debut at this year's Geneva motor show next month. Honda has confirmed this week that it will present the production version of its upcoming hot hatch – not the concept we've already seen – at the Geneva event which runs in early March.
