2018 Skoda Octavia RS245 pricing and specs

The 2018 Skoda Octavia RS245 will kick off from $43,390 before on-road costs when it arrives in November, the company has confirmed. Compared to the standard petrol-powered Octavia RS, the RS245 commands a $4500 premium. And, unlike the previous RS230 that came before it, the 245 is now a permanent member of the range. Fans will also note availability of both six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG automatic transmissions.

2018 LDV T60 pricing and specs

The newest ute on the market has arrived, with the Chinese-made 2018 LDV T60 having hit Aussie shores with plenty of equipment and attractive pricing. The all-new LDV ute is initially going to be sold in two spec levels only - the entry-level Pro (shown here in white) and the high-spec Luxe (in red), both of which have heaps of standard gear fitted. Pricing starts at $28,990 drive-away, making the LDV T60 one of the most affordable utes in the segment.

Built on Volvo's all-new CMA platform - Compact Modular Architecture - the 2018 Volvo XC40 is, according to head office executives, the vehicle that can deliver Volvo much needed global volume. In fact, according to Alexander Petrovski, boss of Volvo's 40-Series models, the XC40 can even deliver volume for the brand even in Australia. "We believe we can sell up to 4000 of these vehicles [per year] in Australia," Petrovski said. "We have very high expectations."
