Introducing the new website, and the 2021 Drive Car of the Year Awards!

The time has finally come! Following our announcement of the relaunch of the brand last year, the new website is up and running.

Everyone at CarAdvice/Drive, from the development team, branding and design teams, and of course, the content team, have been working tirelessly to get this built and ready for you to use, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Not unlike a car launch, the 2021 site sits on an all-new platform, which was developed to work with both current and future user experiences. We’re starting with the basics, so there will be the same great content from the same great team you know (and love), and we will gradually roll out more features over the course of the year.

This includes some great new content streams as well as integration with physical car stocks, so if you read the review and want to take the next step to purchase, things will become even easier!

For the launch, we’ve migrated some existing content across, but from today will be publishing some brand-new material while we work through and make sure everything looks and works the way it is supposed to.

A huge part of this will be the 2021 Drive Car of the Year awards, where we will roll out a massive 23-categories of vehicle comparisons, a further two industry awards as well as two user-voted award categories.

That is of course, on top of the overall 2021 Drive Car of the Year award!

The judges, made up of the CarAdvice / editorial team, have decades of combined experience as automotive testers, writers, buyers and owners, and are committed to finding the car that represents the best step forward for Australian new car buyers.

There will be regular updates on the Drive Car of the Year category winners over the next few days!

We’ll keep publishing on the CarAdvice website for the next few months too, so will be giving you links and heaps of content that you’ll need to cross to the other domain to read. Things will gradually streamline though, and before too long we’ll have one brand new platform with an even larger team working to bring you the best automotive content the world has to offer!
