Riding high on a wave of publicity for the A90 Supra, Toyota has revealed it will produce spare parts for much-loved A70 and A80-generation cars.
"We can not answer about specific parts at this time, but we will make every effort to meet the expectations of owners," Shigeki Tomoyama, head of Gazoo Racing, told the Japanese publication.
"The new Supra is a great car," he added.
"But I don't intend to let go of this A80 Supra in my lifetime."
Toyota is the latest in a line of carmakers offering new parts for their old cars. Nissan has its Nismo Heritage program, creating spares for the R32, R33 and R34 GT-R, while Porsche has turned to 3D printing to offer hard-to-find, rare components on demand.
