It should come as no surprise, then, to hear Aston Martin has paired up with TAG. Although it's primarily a sponsorship deal for the Vantage GT3 racer, the partnership has also bred the blacked-out grand tourer you see here.
Dubbed the (deep breath) Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition (phew), the limited-edition features unique finishes across the board, along with a timepiece to match.
Mechanical details are hard to come by, but we know every car will be finished in Monaco Black. Contrast is provided by red accents on the tyres, brake callipers, and badges. The wheels are also gloss black, while all the car's aero add-ons are carbon-fibre.
It's a similar story inside, where the dominant colour is black, offset by red piping and stitching. The seat backrests are embroidered with the TAG Heuer logo, naturally.
Owners will also get a watch with the car, but what that'll look like remains to be seen.
Given no details have been given about the engine, we'd suggest the standard car's 533kW, 900Nm twin-turbo V12 engine remains unchanged. With so much power on tap, it's unlikely owners will be demanding more.
Here's hoping it's more reliable than the TAG Heuer-branded engines powering Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Formula 1 cars...

Just 50 examples of the DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition will be built, but none will be making the journey to Australia. One will, however, be sent to a dealer in New Zealand.
