Lexus Australia has confirmed a bright new LC Limited Edition, which is now on sale in Australia from $205,000 plus on-road costs.
The new special model is essentially the same as the one announced for the UK in August, sporting a unique exterior finish, model-specific interior colourway and the $15,000 Enhancement Package.
Available in both LC500 V8 and LC500h V6 hybrid ($205,200) variants, the Limited Edition gets a special Zinnia Yellow paint, which is matched with yellow contrast stitching for the white semi-aniline leather-accented seats, instrument panel, steering wheel and centre console armrest. There's also yellow Mikado Alcantara inserts in the door cards.
Being based on the LC500 and LC500h with Enhancement Pack, the Limited Edition also features variable gear ratio steering, four-wheel steering, an active rear spoiler (that deploys at 80km/h) a Torsen limited-slip differential, carbon-fibre roof, heated and ventilated front seats with 12-way electric adjustment, along with carbon-fibre scuff plates in the door sills.
Carryover equipment from the 'standard' model includes 21-inch forged alloy wheels, a head-up display, Alcantara headlining, and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system.
In addition to the introduction of the LC Limited Edition models, the Japanese luxury marque has fettled with both powertrains "for enhanced drivability" along with the adaptive suspension system for "even greater ride comfort" across the board.
For 2019 the LC range also sees the addition of a new interior colour option, dubbed Chrysalis Blue, which first debuted on the Morphic Blue special edition earlier this year – with orange, blue and white hues.
The revised powertrains and suspension bring a $200 price hike to the standard LC models (from $190,000). Click here for more images
