BMW Australia has announced the new 118i and 125i Shadow Editions, which bring sporty dark-themed appointments without any extra spend.
The 118i and 125i Shadow Editions will be priced from $39,900 and $49,900 drive-away – no more than the models on which they're based – when they touch down in showrooms early in 2019.
“These Shadow Editions provide an eye-catching silhouette, with product substance to back up the distinctive appearance."
Both cars gets a set of double-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Jet Black or black/silver bicolour, an LED lighting package, dark exterior highlights for the grille, headlight inserts, tail-lights and tailpipes, and high-gloss black trim in place of chrome along the window line.

An 'M Aerodynamics Package' works with a badge-delete option, to potentially convince punters you're actually driving an M140i. Here's hoping they don't know what an inline six should sound like, or look at the tailpipe arrangement...
Inside, the 125i gains leather upholstery, while the 118i comes with anthracite/grey cloth upholstery. A chubby M Sport steering wheel in standard, along with sports-shaped seats and a dark headliner. Finally, wireless phone charging joins the spec sheet.
Along with the Shadow Editions, BMW has announced a new Style Plus Package for the 118i and 125i. Priced at $2900, the package adds an electric sunroof and metallic paint to both cars.
In the 118i, you get leather seats as part of the package, while the 125i gets a harmon/kardon surround sound system.
