Maserati has confirmed the **breathes** Quattroporte GTS Gransport Nerissimo Edition for Australia, priced from a cool $371,990 before on-road costs.
The Nerissimo Edition – or 'very black' edition – is a dark-themed special featuring numerous blacked-out styling treatments and various carbon-fibre components.
Only 50 will be produced globally, and just five examples are headed Down Under. Headlining the specification sheet are things like Nero Ribelle exterior paint, piano black finish for the front grille, bumper inserts and rear diffuser, along with black finish on the window surrounds, exhaust pipes and 21-inch alloy wheels.
There's also red-painted brake calipers, a carbon-fibre exterior package (front splitter, door mirrors, door handles, B-pillar and rear splitter), 12-way power-adjustable front sports seats, black full leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching, red embroidered Maserati trident logo on the headrests, a carbon-trimmed steering wheel, and an Alcantara headliner.
Under the bonnet is a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 making 390kW of power at 6800rpm and 650Nm of torque between 2000 and 4000rpm – there's also an overboost function that increases peak torque to 710Nm from 2250 to 3500rpm under hard acceleration.. Maserati claims the Nerissimo Edition can sprint from 0-100 in 4.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 310km/h.
The Maserati Quattroporte GTS Gransport Nerissimo Edition is available to order now from $371,990 plus statutory charges, dealer costs and delivery.
