The entire MiTo range has been graced by the Novitec touch, headlined by the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol model along with two diesel-powered variants.
Using the Novitec Powerjet 2 system, the 1.4-litre engine jumps 23kW and 30Nm from only a quick tweak of the ECU which takes just minutes to install, bringing the total power output to 137kW.
With a zero to 100km/h sprint time of just 7.4 seconds, the Novitec version undercuts the standard version by around 0.7 seconds.
Each turbo-diesel model uses Novitec's Powerrail 5 module that boosts power of the standard 1.3 JTD from 66kW to 81kW, while the same unit produces an additional 17.7kW in the MiTo 1.6 JTD with an increase of around 50Nm.
To compliment the added horsepower, Novitec has also added a few exterior enhancements with a new front chin spoiler, roof spoiler and diffuser for the rear apron.
The latter has been designed to showcase the tailpipes for the new stainless-steel exhaust system which have been developed for maximum power and sound.
The new look also includes Novitec N8 multi-spoke 17-inch wheels that are available in either silver or matte black, wrapped in Pirelli high-performance rubber.
New Novitec sports springs also drop the ride height by a considerable 40mm, although Novitec coil-over suspension is also available featuring adjustable ride height and adjustable dampers.
