It's a problem we've all faced - you've got a fabulous car, but finding love is still just out of reach. Well, there's now a solution and it's coming to Australia in 2015.
Online match-making service $upercarDating.com (and no, that dollar sign is not a typo) launched recently in the UK as 'the World's first wealthy dating and social networking club for supercar owners and Fine Living Companions'.
The brainchild of a 33-year-old property developer (and Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster owner), the site was born out of a need to connect men and women with similar interests in both high-end cars, and high-end lifestyles.
Supercar Dating matches exotica owners with "Fine Living Companions" (again, that's not a typo) through a detailed online profile, and claims the site operates without any of the fakeries that may come from traditional online dating applications.
Anyone can pretend to be a billionaire industrialist - but on Supercar Dating, you flash the keys to prove it. No one has ever pretended to own a Veyron online before - the plan is foolproof!
The website lists events, sample profiles, plenty of highlighted capital letters and even some tips on safe dating; suggestions include not rolling out the Bentley on the first meeting, and waiting a little while before disclosing bank account details. Great stuff!
$upercarDating.com is currently based in the UK but planning to launch into North America, Russia and Australia in 2015.
I know what you are thinking, why didn't someone come up with this before?
So dust off the Testarossa and upload your playlist to the SLS, for supercar owners 2015 is the year of love!
