The most notable enhancement NOVITEC offers for the Alfa Romeo 8C is the amplified engine power. In standard form, the 4.7-litre V8 8C produces 331kW of power. Thanks to the addition of a supercharger running 0.37 bar (5.4psi), the NOVITEC version offers a whopping 441kW.
NOVITEC says the top speed of the revised car is around 305km/h, compared with the standard 290km/h, while acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 3.9 seconds. This is all mainly due to the supercharger package which includes a water-to-air intercooler, a stainless steel exhaust system, new injectors and a recalibrated engine computer (ECU).
Visually, there's not a lot that can be done to an already stunning-looking Alfa, so NOVITEC keeps the cosmetic enhancements to a minimum. There's new 21-inch front and 22-inch rear alloy wheels, an adjustable suspension system, and a number of interior appointments to personalise the car, including a leather and Alcantara upholstery.
NOVITEC currently sells the supercharger package for 19,990 euros (AU$27,000).
