The cars are based on the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC SE variants and are loaded with £3,700 worth of extra kit over the standard model.
Inspiration for the limited edition build comes from this season’s Honda Racing British Touring Car entry and gets 17-inch ‘Pro Race’ wheels from the Team Dynamics, which is Honda’s racing partner in the British Touring Car Championships (BTCC).
The matt black wheels are further enhanced by Honda’s ‘GP’ body kit in Crystal black over the Premium pearl white paint and body trim. Included in the ‘GP’ kit is front and rear spoiler, side skirts and rear skirts.
Inside there’s a high-end Pioneer Navigation Multimedia System, which offers a complete SatNav/entertainment system with a 3D graphic touch screen.
The mapping database covers 44 countries and there are multiple sensors for more accurate global positioning and hands free telephone.
While it certainly looks the part, there are no performance modifications, but we reckon Honda will have no trouble selling what we be a rather exclusive car. Priced at £15,995 OTR for the 1.4 and £16,995 for the 1.8-litre variant.
