Nissan GT-R lowers ‘ring record – again

The Nissan GT-R, winner of the 2009 World Performance Car of the Year, improved its lap time at the renowned Nurburgring’s Nordschleife circuit, Germany, in late April to 7 minutes 26.70 seconds.
Previous recorded lap times at the ‘ring were:

New variants for Nissan GT-R?

Nissan’s chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno has confirmed that another high performance version of the GT-R is in the pipeline for future production.
During track testings for the newly released GT-R SpecV, Mr Mizuno explained that a more powerful, performance-honed GT-R is in development for release to the public.
