Revealed last year as a pair of retro-inspired rear-wheel-drive concepts, the IDx was expected to be transformed into a Toyota 86-rivalling sub-Z coupe.
Now, a report with US site Ward’s Auto suggests Nissan is struggling to balance the sums on producing a new lightweight low-volume platform for rear-wheel-drive application.
