2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class recalled with fuel pump fault
A fuel pump fault could cause the car's engine to fail, according to the recall notice.
Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled 56 examples of its flagship 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury sedan, citing a potential fault with the fuel pump.
The affected vehicles are stamped Model Year 2021.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: "A nozzle within the suction jet pump in the fuel tank may become detached. This could result in a sudden loss of power.
"A sudden loss of power while driving increases the risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users."
