2019 Toyota RAV4 teased again
New video shows FT-AC-inspired design
The next-generation Toyota RAV4 has been previewed again, ahead of a full reveal at the New York motor show this week.
A short video clip posted on the company's Twitter profile shows part of the new model's front grille and headlight design, which is no doubt heavily based on the design of the FT-AC concept revealed at the Los Angeles motor show last December.
The fifth-generation RAV4 will be based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) like the C-HR, Camry, Prius, and the new Corolla.
It's expected to feature new engines, a new transmission, and a new all-wheel drive system – which were all detailed in February.
Australia
The new RAV4 is due in Australia sometime in 2019, though exact timing is still to be confirmed. Stay tuned for an update.
