2017-2021 Porsche Cayenne recalled with steering column fault

A fault could cause the steering column to detach and increase the risk of a crash, according to the recall notice.


Porsche Cars Australia has recalled three examples of its 2017-2021 Porsche Cayenne SUV, citing a fault with the steering column connection to the steering gear.

The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: "If the steering column becomes detached it could increase the risk of a crash causing injury or death to the vehicle occupants and other road users."
