The Foton Tunland ute can now be ordered with a full Carryboy Tradesman body unit, potentially making the Chinese light commercial more appealing to those after a cheap workhorse. Designed specifically to be fitted to the Tunland single and dual-cab chassis variants, the Carryboy body unit combines the accessibility of a drop-side tray with the security and weatherproofing of a canopy...

With no new models or updates planned, Chinese brand Foton’s Australian distributor, Ateco Automotive, will continue to sell the Tunland ute unchanged in 2016. The Foton Tunland ute has joined Holden’s Captiva SUVs in being recalled this week for a seemingly innocuous but potentially dangerous issue. 2014 Foton Tunland (4x4) Review

Have had my 4x4 tray-back for 20 months, about 39,000 kms. I have just taken it on a trip through the Simpson desert and it preformed brilliantly. It has a lot of features for the price. The cabin space is great and it is fantastic to get in and out of. I do miss left hand foot rests but having done trips that are well over a thousand kms in a day and am no worse than others cars worth a lot more...

2015 Foton Tunland (4x4) Review

We bought our Foton to use as a daily runabout, long distance cruiser and to tow our 7.5 metre powerboat. Mileage is now getting up towards 30,000 and we are still pleased with the Tunland and enjoying it. Sure, it is not as refined as more expensive Utes but why be surprised at that...

2015 Foton Tunland (4x4) Review

Hi all, purchased a brand new Tunland in Adelaide 4 weeks ago. Drove it home to Sydney over 2 days. Has 5000k on the clock now. Blown away at what I have acquired with this ute. I have nothing but praise for the overall quality of this car. The engine feels strong and robust. No lack in power compared to any of the other dual cabs out there...

2014 Foton Tunland Tl (4x4) Review

I purchased a 2014 Foton Tunland in November 2014. So far I have put nearly 40K on the car. It has a lift kit, All Terrain Tyres, Tow Bar, Bull Bar, driving lights and a soft cover. I had a few minor warranty issues to start with including a missing air vent and the TPMS was deactivated. The Engine is amazing it sounds great, is powerful and averages around 9...
