Peugeot 308 recall

By Matt Brogan |

Peugeot has recalled the 308 due to a bonnet latching striker that is not secure in some cases. Peugeot will be contacting the affected cars owners to bring their cars into a dealership for inspection and replacement if required.

In some rare cases the bonnet may require replacing if the striker is found to be insufficiently secured. Up 564 vehicles are affected by this recall across Australia.

CG, sorry bud but you are wrong, the recall is effective as of feb 22 this year. All manufacturers are required to inform the government, who then put it on a national register. You might be confused with one fo the four recalls the 308 had last year or the two they had in 2008. Wow I don’t know of any single model of car that has had three consecutive years of recalls. Shame on you peugeot!

Are there any Peugeot 308 owners reading this? If so, what do you think of your car?
