Ford Focus RS WRC Edition
February 8, 2010 by George Skentzos
Ford of Switzerland has unveiled a very special edition of the Focus RS hatch to commemorate 40 years of the Ford RS badge.
Limited to just 50 units, the Ford Focus RS WRC Edition is a tribute to the legendary Ford Escort RS1600 which appeared in 1970.
Boasting a unique WRC-inspired livery, the Focus RS WRC is available exclusively in a Frozen White exterior finished, perfectly contrasted by striking 19-inch OZ Super Turismo GT wheels.
The exterior graphics on the Focus RS WRC were chosen from a range of liveries submitted online by Ford fans, who then voted for their favourite.
Inside, each example of the Focus RS WRC features a special plaque signed by Finnish Ford WRC drivers Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtine.
The Focus RS WRC Edition is limited to the European market with a price tag just below A$60,000.

Oh, this is a handsome car, and easily the best looking of the (small) RS range. I guess I should be off to Switzerland then…
Yummo!! thats some phatness right there!
Wish we got something like this here :-D
If we did get something like this here, anyone who bought it would become the biggest social pariah – they would be considered a “hoon” just for owning that car. Not only that, but you would probably be pulled over at least once every trip you made for no other reason but “looking like a hoon”.
But, I agree. It looks awesome!
Funny thing is that this is coming out of Switzerland; one of the most anti performance car countries in the world (according to Top Gear)
