A very nice supercar, but I’d still spent my lotto winnings on a Pagani Zonda. Prefer Jay’s program to those pommy twits in the now silly top gear.

I’d still buy a Veyron if I had too much money to spend on anything else.
It may be faster but like Jay said the Veyron is luxury and its incredibly fast. You don’t need a LeMan style interior to drive to the shops.
Good video though.

I’m with you Mick. The Aero was only built to nudge out the Veyron by what…6km/h!
The Veyron is a car you can go to the shops in, and do it in comfort.
One thing is for sure though, I’d rather be doing 400km/h in a Veyron than in an Aero. Safety reasons alone!

Yeah. The Veyron is a better technological achievement. It is luxurious, comfortable and has no compromise. The SSC was just designed to beat the Veyron in top speed (still doesn’t accelerate as fast) and it took SSC a couple redesigns of the car and a few record attempts. Also Bugatti electronically limited the top speed to 407.
I’ll give the Ultimate Aero credit. It is the fastest but the if given the choice, I’d take the Veyron in a heart beat.

A Cd 0f 0.357 is horrendous. For a car that is as low and that short, I’m sure they could do better. Did they design the bumper with a ruler? Some idiot drew this up in AutoCAD with pop up headlights 15 years ago I bet.
Check out how long the gear shifter throw is. It would take eons to change gears compared to a DSG.
It may be the fastest car in the world, but I bet an Evo X would eat it on a traffic light race.

It’s fast, but it sounded like one of those hoon cars that I ocassionally see and hear around my area.
It’s a shame that Americans just cannot design good looking cars it did look like a kit car.
Sorry Jay,the Europeans are just so much better at designing and engineering cars than the Americans.
